Sio Silica Secures Offtake Agreement

Winnipeg, Manitoba – September 15, 2026

Sio Silica Corporation (“Sio”) is pleased to announce it that has entered into an offtake agreement with a purchaser based in California, USA providing for sale by Sio of 300,000 metric tons per year of high-purity quartz silica to be produced from Sio’s SiMbA Project over a five-year period commencing in 2028. The agreement is subject to Sio obtaining a license under the Environment Act (Manitoba) for the extraction of high-purity quartz silica, among other terms and conditions customary for agreements of this nature.

Sio continues to work with RCT Solutions GmbH regarding its offtake of high-purity quartz silica thru the Port of Churchill.

Sio is pleased that all of its first 5 years of production is now under offtake agreements with these two companies and has discontinued discussions with other potential purchasers as previously announced.
